How Our Pricing Works
No published flat rates — appliance repair pricing depends too much on the unit, the brand, and what's actually wrong. Here's exactly how it works instead.
Step 1: You Call or Submit a Request
Call (731) 244-8756 or use the request form below. We'll ask a few questions to understand what's wrong, confirm we service your appliance and area, and quote you the flat diagnostic fee on the phone. You'll know the diagnostic cost before we ever pull into the driveway.
Step 2: We Diagnose On Site
We arrive within the scheduled window, properly diagnose the problem (test points, multimeter readings, error codes, manufacturer diagnostic dongles where applicable), and write up a quote for the repair. You see the parts cost, the labor cost, and the total before we touch a tool.
Step 3: You Decide
If the repair makes sense and you want to proceed, we usually complete it the same visit. The diagnostic fee gets credited toward the total — meaning if the repair is $X total, the diagnostic you already paid comes off that, so you pay less than $X out the door. If the repair requires an ordered part, we schedule a follow-up visit and only the parts difference is owed then.
If the math doesn't favor repair (older unit, expensive part, multiple impending failures), we'll tell you that honestly — and you only owe the diagnostic fee. No pressure to proceed with a repair we don't recommend.
What Affects the Price
- The actual part needed — a thermal fuse and a main control board are very different conversations.
- Labor time — some repairs are 30 minutes (front-load washer pump), some are 2-3 hours (sealed-system fridge work, sub-zero compressor).
- The brand — high-end and built-in brand parts cost more than standard residential.
- Whether the unit is built-in — pulling a built-in dishwasher or fridge takes longer than working on a freestanding one.
What You Won't See
- Hidden trip charges or fuel surcharges — the diagnostic fee is the whole show-up cost
- Hourly meter running while we troubleshoot — the diagnostic is flat-rate
- Mystery parts on the invoice — you approve the quote before we install anything
